Activision presented a full trailer and the first screenshots, and also revealed the release date of the shooter Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
The game will be officially released on Steam. The project page has already appeared in the store (not available in Russia and Belarus) and even the pre-order is open – before that they give early access to open beta testing. Two editions are available: the Standard Edition and the Vault Edition, which includes the Red Team 141 Operator Pack, Weapon Pack and 50 Battle Pass Tiers (Season 1).
Among the features of the second part, the authors highlight the “most realistic” AI in the series, swimming mechanics, an updated weapon tuning system and three modes – a single-player campaign, multiplayer and cooperative special operations.
The events of the story campaign will unfold three years after the end of the first part. The game will tell about the battle of the operational-tactical group 141 with the Mexican drug cartel and the terrorist group Al-Qatala. In missions, players will visit Mexico, the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
In multiplayer, gamers are waiting for small maps with battles in the 6v6 format. At the same time, there will be large-scale maps, but they will be discussed later.
The game will be released on October 28 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. Regarding Warzone 2, then the release will take place on the same platforms before the end of 2022. mobile version Warzone will also be available at the end of this year. Attention!
