Interior designer Kirsty Farrugia explains how to hang hooks and arrange shelves for optimal storage. writes about him Guard.
To begin with, Farrugia recommends making the space as light and visually open as possible. All items must be visible.
Anything you wear often should be within arm’s reach. Such T-shirts, blouses, shirts and jackets should be placed on the shelves “for frequent use”.
The designer also recommends storing clothes in the order they were worn in the morning. You should start with underwear first, then a t-shirt or shirt, pants or skirt, then a jacket or sweater, and then coats and accessories.
Carsty Farrugia also suggested attaching some hooks to the closet so that there is room for clothes that have been worn but do not need to be washed.
The most important thing to consider when deciding what to hang or what to fold. You should be careful with long dresses, as their weight can harm the shape of the shoulders. Instead, the designer suggests using two thin hangers and folding the bottom of the dress on the second hanger.
