The end of the legal process between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard has unexpectedly sparked a new meme – a comedy petition calling on Bruce Campbell to play Mera in Aquaman 2. Most amusingly, the actor on the news responded by requesting a script for the film.
Within hours, Campbell’s post gained nearly 500,000 likes. Fans are already trying to present the actor in a new role using deepfakes!
Meanwhile, a real petition demanding the removal of Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 has reached 4.5 million collected signatures. It was previously reported that Warner Bros. significantly reduced the number of scenes with Mera.
