The survey also showed that the fact of birth control is important for 30% of young Russians: a quarter of respondents think about birth control in advance and care not only about their own health, but also about the health of their partners.
Within the scope of the survey, participants were asked about their attitudes towards dating applications. According to 39% of respondents, dating apps are not suitable for serious intentions; Another 25% said they did without them and preferred to meet people in person.
“Such a high rate suggests that even after Tinder leaves Russia, it will not affect dating tactics, as more than half of those surveyed (64%) either do not use these tactics or can do just fine without them,” the study says.
The survey was carried out as part of an information campaign aimed at providing information about methods of preventing HIV infection among Russians aged 18-55.
