In the United States, a cat named Bob was found ten years after he disappeared 2,000 km from his home. This has been reported New York Post.
A black and white cat named Bob disappeared in Wichita, Kansas in 2013 and was found in 2023 in Fukei Varino, North Carolina. The distance between cities is about 2 thousand km.
“One day he did not return from a walk. I searched long and hard. Carol Holmes, owner of Bob, told reporters, I put ads, I posted information to groups, but not everything worked.
According to Carol, she named the cat after her father and learned that Bob was found on the day her father turned 94.
“I was sitting at home thinking of my father, I missed him. I accidentally checked my email and was stunned to see two emails asking me to contact a veterinary clinic in Fukei Varino. They found my Bob!” said the stewardess.
Bob was found on the street and taken to a veterinary clinic; where the owner’s identity was identified with an identification chip. The cat is now in the care of the person who found it, and Carol Holmes is raising money to bring the pet back home.
“I would really like if Bob could talk about his life over the last ten years,” said Carol Holmes.
