Actress Halle Berry has finalized her divorce from her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, after eight years of litigation. It has been reported America Today.
With the court decision, the former spouses will jointly use legal and physical custody of their 9-year-old son, Mateo. Halle Berry will pay Olivier Martinez $8,000 (more than 758,000 rubles) in child support and 4.3 percent of the income over $2 million (189 million rubles).
The player will also pay for Mateo’s private tuition, extracurricular activities, health insurance and 100 percent of all medical expenses not included. Halle Berry also agreed to contribute $55,000 to Martinez’s attorney’s fees.
The ex-spouses developed a schedule in which each parent would spend half a week with Mateo, and on weekends the child would take turns living with his mother or father. There is another important requirement: when Mateo is at a parent’s home, a phone or video call with another guardian is allowed before bedtime, but this “must not exceed fifteen minutes.”
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez got married in July 2013, and four months after the wedding, their son, Mateo, was born. In October 2015, the couple filed for divorce. Halle Berry married musician Van Hunt in 2022.
