Prince William, along with his daughter Princess Charlotte, recorded a video message to the English women’s soccer team. The Prince of Wales shared the video on social media.
In the video, William sits on a bench next to Charlotte holding a soccer ball. The Prince of Wales is wearing a blue shirt and jeans, while his daughter is wearing a white, blue-striped T-shirt and denim shorts. In their speech, the royal family wished the players of the English team good luck in the Women’s World Cup final, where they will face the Spanish team.
Lioness, we wish you good luck in tomorrow’s game. We are very sorry that we cannot attend in person. But we are proud of everything you have accomplished and how you have inspired millions of people here and around the world,” said Prince William.
To which Princess Charlotte added: “Good luck, lionesses.”
