Billionaire Elon Musk has auctioned off Twitter-owned products weeks after the company rebranded as X.BBC“.
The auction is called “Twitter Rebranded: Online Auction with Souvenirs, Artwork, Office Supplies & More!” A total of 584 lots were auctioned, including coffee tables, bird cages, dozens of tables and chairs, a DJ console, musical instruments and much more.
One of the Twitter badges that went up for auction is still at the company’s San Francisco headquarters.
The auction will also include two oil paintings with photographs that have been widely discussed on Twitter. The first is a selfie taken by Ellen DeGeneres at the 2014 Oscars. The other shows a photo that US President Barack Obama shared on Twitter after his re-election in November 2012.
The auction house Heritage Global Partners, which sells things, said the minimum price of the lots is $25. The bidding will start on September 12 and will last for two days.
