Game developer Bruce Straley, who worked at Naughty Dog from 1999 to 2017, found great similarities between Mission: Impossible: Deadly Reckoning Part 1 and the Uncharted games. On your page Twitter he posted several of these frames with the caption: “The sincerest form of flattery

In particular, you can see how the scenes from the movie look like on the cover Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and the moment with the falling train, where the main character holds on to the chair with all his strength so as not to fall into the abyss.
It’s worth noting that director Christopher McQuarrie didn’t hide the fact that it was video games that inspired some scenes in the new Mission: Impossible.
The film premiered this month. Its IMDb rating is 8.1 at the time of writing. The sequel will be released next June.
