Fashion house Tom Ford will present a new womenswear collection for the Spring 2024 season at Milan Fashion Week in September. writes about it WWD.

This will be the first womenswear collection from Peter Hawkings, who was appointed creative director in April.

“I am honored to be appointed Creative Director of Tom Ford and to have the unique opportunity to write the next chapter in the future of the brand. “Italian craftsmanship and excellence have been an inspiration for our collections, and I am delighted that the show will be featured at Milan Fashion Week,” said Hawkings.

Hawkings earned his master’s degree from Central Saint Martins and was a longtime Ford partner with the brand for 17 years. Previously, he was Tom Ford’s senior vice president of menswear. His new responsibilities include curating the womenswear, menswear and accessories categories, as well as serving as chief designer for the fashion segment and fashion shows.

Peter Hawkings isn’t the only designer to debut at Milan Fashion Week. New Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno will present his first fashion show for the brand in September. It came from the Valentino brand and replaced Alessandro Michele.
