King Charles III of Great Britain forced Elizabeth II’s favorite aide to leave his house in Windsor, where he had lived for many years. It has been reported Page Six citing a book by royal family biographer Valentine Lowe.

According to the biographer, II. Angela Kelly, Elizabeth’s former personal assistant and close friend, had been waiting for the Queen to be allowed to live in a cottage in Windsor Home Park after her death. But on the orders of Charles III, the 65-year-old woman was forced to leave the residence.

Angela Kelly first began working for the Queen in 1994 as the monarch’s dresser, responsible for her attire, jewelery and insignia. However, over time her responsibilities expanded.

“In recent years, apart from the Queen’s immediate family, no one has been closer to her than Angela Kelly. She was officially the Queen’s personal assistant, counselor, and curator … but she was also her confidant, friend, and person who valued her more than anyone else. As Kelly told her friends, she was actually the queen’s nurse,” Lowe wrote.

The author added that when Elizabeth II was alive, Angela Kelly had a room on the same floor as the queen’s private chamber. Low noted that high-value employees working for the royal family are often given so-called “houses of grace and mercy” to live on the estate. However, II. A few days after Elizabeth’s death, it became clear that Kelly would not receive this privilege, despite her loyalty to His Highness.

“Negotiations began, in which the king was offered to buy him a house near Sheffield. [Англия]so that he could be close to his grandchildren. I got the impression that the king didn’t want to live next to him,” Low explained.
