Russians prefer Abkhaz sanatoriums to domestic sanatoriums. This is evidenced by the results of a study of the Travelata.ru online tour shop taken by socialbites.ca.
Abkhaz Pitsunda attracts the main stream of tourists who prefer recreation with health benefits. A quarter of those who buy sanatorium and hostel tours this summer will go there. The average check for this direction is 109 thousand rubles.
Sukhum and Gagra (19%) took the second and third places. These Abkhaz resorts are equally popular among Russians, despite the price difference. If in Sukhum you can improve your health for an average of 80 thousand rubles, then a health-improving vacation in Gagra will cost about 105 thousand rubles.
Another holiday destination of Abkhazia, Tsandripsh (10%), was among the popular sanatorium destinations. The average price of a tour there is 100 thousand rubles.
Greater Sochi is the leader among Russian destinations: 11% of tourists plan to visit sanatoriums and hostels of this resort in the summer. The price here is the highest – about 114 thousand rubles per round.
Caucasian Mineralnye Vody won 10%. At the same time, rest is relatively budgetary – 82 thousand rubles.
“Last year Gagra was the leader, almost a third of those who preferred a therapeutic vacation went there. The price of the trip was significantly lower than in the summer of 2023: 67 thousand rubles. Greater Sochi was in second place (18%), a trip there cost an average of 56,000 rubles.
