Italian fashion house Gucci has introduced a new jewelry collection. It has been reported www.
The jewelery collection, which is the fourth in the history of the Gucci house, is called Allegoria and is dedicated to the four seasons. Spring in the series symbolizes with diamonds and tourmalines, and summer with emerald, spinel and Paraiba tourmalines. Yellow sapphires, pink tourmalines and orange garnets are responsible for autumn, while diamonds and opals surrounded by precious enamel convey the mood of winter.
The jewelry presentation took place at Palazzo Settimanni, the brand’s historical archive in Florence.
“This is where our story began when Guccio Gucci started making handmade leather goods in 1921. This sophisticated approach to creativity reflects the art of jewellery, and the presentation in Florence is a tribute to the home’s rich history and place of birth,” explains Gucci President and CEO. Marco Bizzarri.
Bizzari noted that Gucci is “new” in the high jewelery segment, but stressed that customers of the house “know that something unique is on offer, inspired by the passion, creativity and emotion of the house.”
“This is what sets us apart from all the other players in the industry. Everything starts with creativity. “This is what clients are ultimately looking for, along with the highest quality craftsmanship, exceptional gems and liquidity,” said Marco Bizzarri.
