Stefano Gallici has become the new creative director of Belgian brand Ann Demeulemeester. It has been reported www.

The designer’s first collection in this position will be unveiled at Paris Fashion Week on September 30, 2023.

As Creative Director of the Antwerp-based Belgian brand, Stefano Gallici replaces designer Ludovic de Saint-Sernin after a tenure of six months. Gallici had previously created men’s collections for Ann Demeulemeester.

Stefano Gallici started his career in Antwerp as an assistant to designer Haider Ackermann. Moved to Ann Demeulemeester in 2020.

Ann Demeulemeester was founded in 1985 by fashion designer Ann Demeulemeister, a graduate of the Royal Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts, known for her distinctive avant-garde approach to fashion design. He gained fame in the early 90s when the Demeulemeister collections began to be exhibited in Paris.

In November 2013, Anne Demeulemeister announced she was leaving fashion, choosing fashion designer Sebastien Meunier as her successor. She left the brand in 2020.

Previously reportedthat designer Peter Do became the creative director of Helmut Lang.
