King of Great Britain III. Charles and his wife Camilla arrived in Northern Ireland for a two-day visit. It has been reported daily mail.
Last Wednesday, May 24, the royal couple attended the grand opening of the Coronation Garden in Newtownabbe, created in honor of Elizabeth II’s son’s accession to the British throne. The King and Queen of Great Britain were welcomed by the famous landscape designer Diarmuid Gavin, who designed the garden, as well as County Antrim’s first persons, schoolchildren and locals.
Charles III, 74, and Camilla, 75, then went to Hillsborough Castle, the official seat of local government, and planted a coronation tree on its grounds.
The visit to Northern Ireland was their first overseas trip since their coronation in London on 6 May 2023.
