A Pomeranian named Darla echoed Cardi B’s image and her sister Lala wore Dua Lipa’s outfit. Bagel, a cat wearing sunglasses, disguised as a Doja Cat, and Bogi, a chihuahua, disguised as rapper Bad Bunny.
According to Anthony Rubio, the most difficult outfit to recreate was Jared Leto, who presented a chihuahua named Rubio at the Pet Gala.
“It took two weeks,” the fashion designer said.
Anthony Rubio has added that he is already planning a Pet Gala next year. The fashion designer said she hopes the next ball will be a dinner at a real museum with sponsors and tickets to raise money for animal shelters and charities.
