British actress Helen Mirren appeared with her bright blue hair at the opening ceremony of the 76th Cannes Film Festival. It has been reported Page Six.
Helen Mirren, 77, appeared on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in a blue floor-length evening dress by the young British fashion brand Del Core. The actress completed the look with platform sandals from Sole Bliss and a paper fan with the #WorthIt hashtag in the folds. But all the attention was on the star’s bright blue hair, which “adds a modern twist to the classic cut of her outfit,” as Helen Mirren’s stylist Lee Harris later explained to reporters.
“The dress is pretty classic and the blue hair adds a touch of punk modernity that makes the look very up-to-date. Cannes is one of those events where you can have fun and be dramatic. I think this whole look reflects the joy Dame Helen loves to bring to the red carpet,” said Harris.
On the first day of the 76th Cannes Film Festival, Catherine Deneuve, Uma Thurman and her son Alessandra Ambrosio, Emmanuelle Beart, Dimitri Rassam and Charlotte Casiraghi, Naomi Campbell and other stars showed up on the red carpet.
