Fashion designer Nino Cerutti’s mansion in the town of Biella in Piedmont, Italy, will be sold at Sotheby’s auction in June this year. It has been reported WWD.

The house was put up for sale by fashion designer Jan Cerutti’s grandson, who inherited it after his grandfather’s death in 2022.

“My grandfather was not only a designer but also a visionary. His blending of Italian elegance and French elegance, his attention to detail, impeccable style and uncompromising commitment to quality are reflected not only in his projects but also in his home,” said Ian Cerutti.

The eight-bedroom mansion was built in 1834 with adjoining guest and garden cottages surrounded by lemon trees and a rose garden.

The interior of the house is decorated in a classic and eclectic style, with antique tapestries, velvet upholstered sofas and marble fireplaces.

The starting price of the mansion is 1.25 million euros.
