Indian actress and Miss World 2000 title holder Priyanka Chopra spoke out about a failed facial surgery that led to her being nicknamed “Plastic Chopra” in the early 2000s. It has been reported daily mail.
On The Howard Stern Show, 40-year-old Priyanka Chopra talked about a failed rhinoplasty after which her face changed so much that she fell into a deep depression.
“My face has changed so much that I couldn’t recognize myself in the mirror. I fell into a deep depression,” the actress shared.
Priyanka Chopra added that she was fired from three films after the operation and feared that the “new face” would end her career as an actress. Yildiz hesitated for a long time about going under the knife, but her father, who is a doctor, convinced her to have a corrective surgery.
Priyanka Chopra went into more detail about the failed surgery and its aftermath in her autobiography, Unfinished, published in February 2021. The actress admitted in her book that some haters called her “Plastic Chopra” after the surgery, she said.
