Actress Renata Litvinova honored the memory of fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev. He published the relevant post on his Telegram channel.
“For me he was the first Russian fashion designer. It will remain so. Trembling and original, it paved the way for everyone else. Finally let it be there. After all, it was difficult for her here, ”Litvinova wrote in the memory of the fashion designer.
The actress remembered how the first dress of Vyacheslav Zaitsev appeared in her wardrobe. While modeling in high school, she first tried on a famous fashion designer’s dress and has dreamed of owning it one day ever since.
Litvinova’s dream came true in her student years. “When I studied at VGIK, my darling Nikolasha, who was then in the final year of the art department, for no reason asked me what kind of gift I wanted. It was summer, it was the end of my first year, and Nikola made money somewhere (there was still the USSR, someone was cheating, changing the currency, and someone else was doing something worse). And I confessed – I want Slava Zaitsev’s dress, ”the actress said.
According to Renata, after classes they went by taxi to the boutique. “Oh, how long I walked among the models, I chose both the dress and the same broad-shouldered cloak! Later, when I came to the institute, everyone “fell” and someone treated me unsympathetically and even smiling. I knew the answer: not everyone has taste!” he added, emphasizing that Zaitsev’s dresses are “the best in the USSR”.
The death of Vyacheslav Zaitsev became known on April 30. The fashion designer, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, died at the age of 86 in the intensive care unit of the hospital in the city of Shchelkovo.
A few days later, on May 2, Valentin Yudashkin passed away. The fashion designer died at the age of 59 from cancer, which he had been battling since 2016.
