Supermodel Linda Evangelista and photographer Steven Meisel began their collaboration in 1987 by creating iconic images for the fashion industry. These photos are now featured in a new book, Linda Evangelista Photographed by Steven Meisel, to be published by Phaidon on September 13, the last day of New York Fashion Week.
With a foreword by author William Norwich, the book includes over 190 photographs taken between 1987 and 2011. This will be the first book dedicated to Linda Evangelista.
Evangelista, 57, is one of the world’s most recognizable and photographed models of all time. She has been Maisel’s muse and friend for over 35 years. The supermodel has graced the covers of more than 700 magazines and walked some of the most iconic fashion shows around the world.
