As part of the presentation of the national sports awards, honor cups from the hands of the Spanish monarchs were given to Barcelona football player Alexia Puteia and Venezuelan long jump record holder Yulimar Rojas. Golfer Jon Ram was also awarded – his mother, Angela Rodriguez, received the award instead of the athlete.
