The diet of the English King Charles III includes a daily martini. wrote about it Telegram Royal expert Gordon Rayner, a member of around 20 royal tours.

According to him, the monarch even has his favorite cocktail – a martini, which he drank before dinner. Rayner noted that Charles III loved his own spirits so much that he even took them with him on his travels.

“When he travels abroad, he takes with him his own spirits, which his staff mixes to his liking, while the queen consort takes her red wine, usually from Pomerol to Bordeaux. The king may have a glass of wine at dinner, but a martini is actually the only drink of the day,” he said. Wrote Gordon Rayner.

Royal biographer Tina Brown previously wrote in The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor that the king’s favorite drink was the martini, half gin and half dry vermouth.
