Personal stylist Evgenia Gudoshina told socialbites.ca about styles of dresses that are no longer fashionable.
Experts evaluated plaid shirt dresses with cut waists, wide skirts and fabric belts, as well as models with cut-out sleeves among outdated dresses.
“The jacket dress is a classic. But options with a sharp or wide collar can be called relevant. Models with narrow shawl collars are an anti-trend, ”said Gudoshina.
The stylist advises to abandon short dresses with an elastic waistband, which, in her opinion, makes the look cheaper.
Dresses with asymmetrical hems – short in the front and long in the back, says Gudoshina, are no longer in fashion. As well as sheath dresses with a peplum at the waist.
“I emphasize that the anti-trend is a combination of details. Shawl collars are also used in mannequins, a cage also has its place. However, in certain combinations, these details, together with the other features of the cut, give the dresses an air of zero,” the expert concluded.
