Prince Harry, Queen II. He felt “reserved” because Elizabeth had sent him to serve Afghanistan, not William. It has been reported Mirror.

In the new documentary series The Real Crown, General Mike Jackson meets with Queen II to discuss Prince William and Harry’s involvement in the 2001 Afghanistan War. He describes a private meeting with Elizabeth. According to the general, the late queen wanted both of her grandchildren to join the army.

“In this case I’m going to break the secrecy rule. The Queen was very clear. She said, “My grandchildren got my shilling, so they must do their duty. And that’s how it happened,” she shared.

But later the queen decided that sending the future heir to the throne would be too risky to hotspot, and only Prince Harry went to fight in Afghanistan.

“In the case of William the heir to the throne, it was decided that the risk was too great. But for his younger brother, the risk was acceptable,” the general said.

General Mike Jackson said Prince Harry was just after World War II. He suggested that Elizabeth had good reason to feel “reserved” for this decision.
