Starbucks customers say drinking olive oil causes stomach problems

Starbucks customers were dissatisfied with the new olive oil-added coffee drink, saying it was bad for the stomach. writes about it new york post.

The coffee chain launched its Oleato line of coffee drinks with Partanna extra virgin olive oil in Milan in February. In March, the drinks went on sale in the United States.

These include the Oleato latte, made with light espresso infused with extra virgin olive oil infused with oat milk; iced espresso Oleato with hazelnut, espresso, oat milk and olive oil breezes; as well as cold brew made with extra virgin olive oil, milk foam and cold brew.

The Starbucks bassist wrote on Reddit: “Half the team tried [напиток] yesterday and had to go to the bathroom for a few others, if you know what I mean. Frankly, I’m afraid to try because I already have stomach/intestinal issues.”

Other users wrote that they had similar experiences with lattes, espresso and cold drinks with olive oil.

“I tried them and honestly I felt sick after using them. After that, I seemed to have no appetite and it was all I ate all day,” one Starbucks customer wrote.
