Recently, the VK Play platform conducted a survey where it found out which Russian franchise games gamers would most like to see. Apart from that, the top of the most desirable game adaptations of foreign films and series was also compiled.

The first place was taken by the game based on the films “Brother” or “Brother 2”. 18% of users want to see such a project.

In second place is a game based on The Last Hero, Alyosha Popovich and Tugarin the Serpent (15%).

In general, 95% of players from the Russian Federation are waiting for some kind of game based on their favorite TV series or movie. The most popular genres among Russians are action movies and fantasy, 21% of players voted for them. 18% of respondents preferred the plots of adventure movies. Comedy and detective were chosen by 17% of gamers. 12% of Russians would like to see a historical and fantastic story in games. Among all compatriots, games based on melodramas, horror films and thrillers are the least interested – only 9%. And there is no demand for the tragedy genre at all.

And this is what the wish list for game adaptations based on foreign projects looks like:

  • “Sherlock Holmes” and “Avatar” – 22% each;
  • Jumanji – 19%.
  • “Game of Thrones” – 12%;
  • “Staying alive” and “The Walking Dead” – 11% each.
