Former New Zealand Cabinet Minister Jacinda Ardern, who resigned in January 2023, has taken over the Prince of Wales’s William Earthshot Award project. It has been reported daily mail.
Ardern, 42, was announced on social media by representatives of Earthshot Prize, an organization that contributes to environmental protection and rewards innovative ideas in this field. The account thanked the politician for his “unwavering commitment to sustainable development and the fight for climate.”
The former prime minister stated in his post that the project “has the ability to not only inspire and spread optimism, not just the innovation we so desperately need”.
Prince William expressed his satisfaction with the new appointment in a statement posted on the Earthshot Prize website.
“We are honored to welcome Jacinda to the Earthshot Prize team,” he said.
