– Probably someone works, yes, and understands how much he forgot in the process. And I think it’s better for parents not to do homework with kids. What has already grown from adults has grown, and the child needs to inculcate the habit of doing everything by himself and ask constructive questions to adults if something is not clear. — How do you motivate Herman to work well? Are you scolding him for the trio?
– Now, if you are talking about a purposeful motivation to study, then it seems to me that there is nothing. I once mixed firewood for my snobbery as a medalist. Barely cleaned and maybe not completely cleaned yet. Herman, unlike me, is not an excellent student by nature, and that, it seems to me, is even good. There will be less worry. He studies not without problems, quite willingly, goes to school without longing in his eyes, and often even cheerfully. Life itself motivates, our task in the family is to ensure that we do not miss the basics in elementary school. We do not scold grades, in no case do we punish for them, because they are often not an indicator of intelligence or weakness of character. We do not approve of cases of excessive laziness, we condemn manifestations of irresponsibility, we explain the disadvantage of hack-work to the child himself. We try to teach how to get along in the system of society, but also to create the understanding that knowledge is not for assessments, but is useful and primarily in the hands of the student, showing options for their practical application. .
– By the way, what do you think about the modern education system compared to the Soviet education system? What about the Unified State Examination and the abolition of the Bologna system?
I don’t like the exam. What’s wrong with it: it’s told in a sea of articles by psychologists and educators. Let me repeat myself. I will not discuss the rest of the question for now.
