Fashion house Maison Margiela has released a series of transparent masks to be worn as accessories. It has been reported hypebeast.
Masks of the same style are released in three different versions, their prices are different. So, white from natural material costs $ 510, black from the same fabric – already $ 250. Finally, the white polyester version costs $210.
On the face, the masks are fixed with ties from the back of the head.
How the masks look when put on can be seen on the brand’s website – many models in the catalog of the spring 2023 collection represent the brand’s clothes, their faces covered with transparent fabric.
The technique, in which the faces of the models are covered during the show of clothes, was frequently used by the founder of the house, Belgian designer Martin Margiela.
