Actress Sharon Stone spoke about the producer’s harassment during the filming of “Basic Instinct.” She announced this in her speech at the NYWIFT Muse Awards.
According to the actress, the producer of the series named her “Karen”, a slang word used to describe a demanding and contradictory woman during the filming of the movie.
“I got the role after nine months of auditioning, after 13 other women turned it down. Throughout the movie, the producer named me Karen, so much so that when I got to my first audition, I was so shocked that I drove my car into a semi-trailer.
