American tattoo artist Kat Von D sold her mansion to Tyler James Cassidy, co-owner of Hollywood Forever, one of the most famous cemeteries in Los Angeles. writes about it TMZ.

About 1,200 square feet of mansion with 13 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms has been sold, real estate sources told TMZ. The new owner was Cassidy, who apparently liked the home’s gothic-Victorian interiors.

Kat Von D bought the house for $6.5 million in 2016 and has done a lot of restoration work on the mansion. The mansion features a secret bar, hand-carved walls, a library, and seven fireplaces. There is a swimming pool and spa area in the backyard. The tattoo artist decided to sell his property after announcing that he would be moving from California to Indiana.

The deal came days before the California mansions tax came into effect, after which you’ll have to pay 4% for real estate sales over $5 million and 5.5% for real estate sales over $10 million.
