Actress Brooke Shields said she was dissatisfied with her mother, Teri Shields, for letting her play the prostitute at age 11. She talked about it in an interview. Sunday Times.
“It was hard for me not to justify my mother to them, but when they asked, I thought, ‘Oh my God, I have to admit it. But I don’t know why he finds it normal,” said Shields, commenting on the statement that he participated in the shooting of “child pornography” in the documentary Pretty Baby.
This is a reference to the 1978 movie “Pretty Woman” in which the 11-year-old actress played a prostitute and kissed the 27-year-old actor Keith Carradine.
The actor did not notice the inadequate behavior of his mother for a long time. But now Shields has said: “I don’t know why you think this is normal. I don’t know”. The star’s mother was an alcoholic and died in 2012.
Shields also noted that she would never allow her two daughters to watch the movie “Pretty Woman” with her participation.
