Rapper Snoop Dogg has announced his intention to perform at Charles III’s coronation. It has been reported New York Post.
The 51-year-old rapper wants to take part in his coronation concert, which will be held at Windsor Castle on May 7, 2023.
“I will perform at the coronation,” said the musician.
Snoop Dogg has revealed that he feels a special bond with the British monarchy for allowing the late Queen Elizabeth to come to England after facing a tour ban when he was accused of murder in the mid-’90s.
“When they tried to expel me from England, the Queen said that her grandchildren loved Snoop Doggy Dogg and she had done nothing wrong in England, so she let me come. These grandchildren grew up and became Prince William and Harry. I had an influence on them, and they did too. “They had an influence on their grandmother, which allowed me to enter this beautiful country. They love my music. It’s mutual love and respect,” he said in an interview with The Guardian in 2015.
