The Dukes of Sussex put forward a set of conditions under which Charles III would attend the coronation. It has been reported New York Post.

According to insider information, Meghan and Harry requested seats on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, which per protocol is only available to current members of the royal family. In addition, the Dukes of Sussex are concerned about the role of their children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – who have not yet received an official invitation for the ceremony.

Royal staff fear that Meghan and Harry’s demands could ‘wreak havoc’ at the coronation, so Buckingham Palace is doing everything it can to ensure that doesn’t happen.

“The palace is trying to finish the negotiations as quickly as possible, as they cannot start work right away. This can lead to chaos. Probably everything will stop and they will not come. But the palace is doing everything in its power to prevent this from happening,” he said.

An insider added that Meghan and Harry also insisted that they be invited to the palace with other family members after the coronation.

“Prince Archie has a birthday on his coronation day, so they want to somehow celebrate this event at a dinner or arrange a buffet with drinks,” an insider said.
