Former football player David Beckham wants to launch beer, as well as spirits such as tequila and whiskey, under a new brand. writes about it Times.
Since 2014, Beckham has been the face of Diageo’s Haig Club whiskey brand. It has decided not to renew its contract with the brand, which will expire in the coming months, but is seeking partners to help it develop its own brand of spirits.
The Times also reported that the line evaluates soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer in addition to alcoholic beverages.
Ryan Reynolds became co-owner of Aviation Gin with Davos Brands in 2018. The brand was sold to Diageo in 2020, and the actor earned up to $100 million.
George Clooney founded Casamigos Tequila in 2013 before it was sold to the beverage giant for $1 billion four years later.
