The champagne carpet was chosen for the 95th Academy Awards. The last 62 years have been red carpet. “I think that shows how confident we are that there will be no bloodshed,” said comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who had the honor of hosting the upcoming ceremony.

The decision for the champagne red carpet was made by Lisa Love and Raul Avila, creative consultants responsible for the Met Gala Costume Institute prom sets.

The event will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on the night of March 13, 2023. A$AP will focus on Rihanna, who is pregnant with her second child from Rocky. The Barbadian singer will perform the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack “Lift Me Up,” which was nominated for an Oscar in the “Best Film Song” category.
