Warm tones of blonde, rich chocolate colors and bright block colors are the main trends of the new season. Leonid Romanov, stylist and creative partner of L’Oreal Professionnel, told socialbites.ca about this.
“I advise blondes to move away from cold tones and look at gold, wheat and even bright blond. You can focus on Marilyn Monroe’s hair color, but a few tones warmer. “Warm blonde looks more natural than cold blonde, so the smudging is less obvious.”
The stylist advised brunettes to pay attention to rich chocolate shades, from milky to bitter.
“You can add a subtle undertone – a light graphite, for example. But it is better to refuse too dark tones, after winter the skin is already dull, and black color will only emphasize this, ”she explained.
Coloring techniques like shatush and balayage are already considered mauvais shades this year, according to Romanov.
“In a light version it is better to choose block and contrast techniques. Block dyeing makes it possible for some to hide gray hair, for others to create an interesting pattern and combine colors creatively,” he suggested.
For those who want to add brightness to the image and at the same time adhere to the rules of business dress, the stylist advised to try on the so-called stealth stains.
“With styling, you brighten a few strands that can easily be hidden. Another trendy option is to contour or color under the bangs,” she added.
