French fashion house Balenciaga has opened a vacancy for its Vice President of Communications, whose primary responsibilities will be crisis management. It has been reported New York Post.
The brand announced on Tuesday, February 28, that it is seeking a specialist for this position. He states that the successful candidate will need to lead “the development and implementation of external and internal crisis communication strategies and interventions.”
The salary that a candidate for this position can expect is between $150,000 and $200,000.
“This is an exciting opportunity to join the Balenciaga corporate team,” the announcement said.

Previously, the brand was publicly condemned for an advertising campaign that the public saw as pedophilia propaganda. Brand and creative director Demna Gvasalia has already apologized.
