The adult animated series Velma has been renewed for a second season. This decision was obviously made due to record viewings – the show started better than any other animated series on HBO Max.

The first season, consisting of 10 episodes, aired from January 12 to February 9. The show received devastating ratings from viewers: 1.4/10 on IMDb, 0.5/10 on Metacritic, and 0.9/5 on Rotten Tomatoes.

Formerly Warner Bros. canceled two franchise projects at once: the sequel to Scooby-Doo! 2020 called Scoob!: Holiday Haunt, which was to be shown in theaters, and the full-length cartoon Scooby Doo and The Haunted High Rise, which was scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray.
