Lonely people on February 14 are advised to change their mindset, stay positive and relax. Psychologist Pavel Rakov told socialbites.ca about this.

The first thing Rakov advised single people on Valentine’s Day was to “change the mindset.” “Tell yourself that all this Valentine’s Day, pink balloons, flowers, etc., don’t upset you, but inspire you. The more you surround yourself with positive visualizations of your future crush, the faster the romance happens,” she explained.

“When you have the expectation of falling in love, you become a magnet for relationships,” stressed the psychologist.

The specialist advised to stay positive. “In a skillful situation, you have to dream. All living things reach grateful, enthusiastic and contented people.

Rakov advised women to congratulate single girlfriends on February 14. After all, one of them, being grateful for the good mood, can invite you to some kind of party, where, probably, the long-awaited meeting will take place. Be generous in relationships, including friendships,” she said.

Finally, the psychologist suggested relaxation. “It’s just a date. It’s not all over if you’re alone this holiday. Remember the school physics: strength of influence equals strength of reaction. The stronger your desire for a relationship, the more anxious and stressed you are, and this is the added stress that can lead to depression under certain circumstances. You don’t need it. Take a deep breath, exhale, smile at yourself in the mirror – the favorite person who is always there, ”she concluded.
