Princess Diana’s personal letter written a few months before her death will be auctioned. It has been reported Mirror.

The Princess of Wales wrote a touching note on December 17, 1996, eight months before she died in a car crash in Paris. In the letter, Diana writes that she “started enjoying her freedom” after her divorce from Prince Charles and expressed hope that 1997 would be “easier” for her. Lady Dee also writes about her intention to spend her 1996 Christmas abroad “in the sun”, jokingly saying, “I’ll outdo myself if I stay here!”

All these years Princess Diana’s letter was hidden by her close friends Susie and Tarek Kassemov. They decided to sell the late princess’s letters at auction and send some of the proceeds to charities that Diana oversaw her life.
