Art Deco is one of the most important interior trends of 2023. Ksenia Kuznetsova, interior designer and product director of Mr.Doors, told socialbites.ca about this.
“Art Deco” at the peak of popularity – royalty, nobility, aesthetics will certainly win the hearts of Russians. Sophistication and expressiveness, golden designs and interesting shapes, glossy and matte surfaces, the combination of glass and lighting – these magnificent techniques will help create a special atmosphere for finesse connoisseurs.
According to the designer, Art Deco will also support lines, another trend in interiors.
“They can be both horizontal, visually enlarging the space upwards, and vertically expanding it. They will be embodied not only in decorative elements, textiles, but also in furniture facades and surfaces.”
Kuznetsova also advised to pay attention to such things as the shape of furniture and decor items.
“The round shapes that we encounter in 2022 will become more common this year. Today, this will apply not only to textiles, but also to upholstered furniture and even kitchenware.”
