The family of the heir to the Danish throne, Crown Prince Frederik, will celebrate Christmas in Tasmania, the hometown of his wife, Crown Princess Mary. It has been reported daily mail.
The photo, which shows both their wives and children – Christian (17 years old), Isabella (15 years old), Vincent and Josephine (11 years old), was posted on the social network by Crown Princess Mary. The picture shows the family posing on a hill overlooking Hobart, Tasmania’s capital city and Australia’s second oldest city.
Crown Princess Mary, real name Mary Elizabeth Donaldson, was born in Hobart, Tasmania, in 1972, nine years after her family moved there from Scotland. She met Crown Prince Frederik at a bar during the 2000 Sydney Olympics and married him in 2004.
Since then, Crown Princess Mary has visited Australia nine times, including four times on royal tours. This trip is considered private. This means that representatives of the Danish monarchy will not attend official events.
Crown Princess Mary last visited Australia for a private visit in 2021. She then went home alone to celebrate her 50th birthday approaching.
