Actress Brooke Shields claimed that the movie Blue Lagoon, in which she acted at the age of 14, could not be shot in 2022 due to the nudity and fishing scenes in the frame. It has been reported daily mail.
The 57-year-old actor and his partner in the famous 1980 movie, 61-year-old Christopher Atkins, are discussing the possible fate of the picture today with Now What?
“They would never make a movie like this again. That’s not allowed,” said Brooke Shields.
Christopher Atkins agreed and gave several reasons: “The animals were harmed in the movie. We speared fish and did other crazy things. Children ran naked on the beach. Now we couldn’t.”
In the chat, the actors recalled filming nude scenes and wearing headbands instead of clothes on screen.
“We wore small headbands and my hair was loose over my body to cover my chest, which was very little anyway,” Brooke Shields said.
Christopher Atkins, who was 18 at the time of filming, admitted that he found it “hard to walk in clothes” when the movie was over.
Blue Lagoon is a 1980 movie where two boys, a boy and a girl, fall on a deserted island where they live, grow, fall in love, and become parents.
