Warner Bros. announced the date of the premiere of the animated series “Velma”, which will tell about the brightest member of the Scooby-Doo team. The first episode will air on HBO Max on January 12. The company has not disclosed the release schedule for the episodes.
Unlike other projects about Scooby-Doo, the animated series “Velma” will be designed for an adult audience. It will be the first show in the franchise not to feature Scooby the dog. Nevertheless, in Velm you can see the rest of the main characters in the universe: Daphne, Fred and Shaggy. The first season (the second has not yet been announced) will consist of ten episodes.
