Insiders say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex requested a “table meeting” with senior members of the royal family after their documentary was released on Netflix. A source close to Meghan and Harry said the couple wanted the royal family to “take responsibility” for the pain and damage done to the couple. The meeting of the Sussexes was held in May 2023. It was noted that they insisted that it be done before Charles attended the coronation.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also outraged that the palace has facilitated a warm reconciliation meeting between charity director Ngozi Fulani and the Queen’s former bridesmaid, Lady Susan Hussey, following a racial scandal.
