Deadline journalists announced changes to the team of the second season of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. According to the publication, only female directors will be involved in the sequel.

The second season will contain eight episodes. They are directed by Charlotte Brandstrom, who directed the sixth and seventh episodes of the first season, as well as Sanaa Hamri and Louise Hooper.





Sanaa Hamri recently worked on the second season of The Wheel of Time. She once also filmed episodes for the series Elementary and Shameless.

Hooper’s work includes shows like The Witcher and The Sandman.
