A TikTok blogger shared his experience using food coloring instead of blush. The post writes about it Sun.
Jena McTavish told her TikTok followers how she decided to achieve a healthy blush effect with improvised means. Instead of her usual blush, the girl added some food coloring to her moisturizer, and the next morning her face turned bright pink.
“It worked. But instead of a healthy blush, I got a bright pink face. Now I’m having a hard time not crying. How do I lift it?” – signed the video blogger.
The comment section was filled with posts from people reflecting on his bad experience, some giving advice, some mocking him.
“Have you tried frying it?” A user asked. To which Jena replied: “Yes, but sometimes you know how one thing leads to another.”
“I call this shade a midday tan,” commented another, “It really is,” replied Jena.
Later, Jena wrote that she tried to cover up the pink color with tonal means the day after the failed experiment. However, it turned out that food coloring is stronger and manifests itself even in several layers of decorative cosmetics.
