A former employee of the Kardashian family talked about how she got a free cream sample from her superiors instead of a bonus. The post writes about it Mirror.

Jessica DeFino revealed that from 2015 to 2016 she worked as an assistant at Whalerock Industries, the digital media company the Kardashian-Jenner family hired to create their apps. She said from the very beginning she worked hard to prove to her bosses that she deserved “a promotion, a change of position, whatever”, and was soon recognized as the best employee of the week. However, instead of the expected bonus or pay rise, Jessica was rewarded with a free sample of face cream.

“I got a free sample of Crème de la Mer for £145. I wish I could pay my landlord with luxury skincare products,” The Mirror quotes Jessica.

DeFino also said that working with the Kardashians isn’t easy – “too little money and too much stress for too many hours”, while another former employee added that the company has a “toxic work environment.”

To remember this story, Jessica was inspired by Kim Kardashian’s recent statement in which she complained that “nobody wants to work these days” and advised women to “get your ass up and work”. The reality TV star later said that her words were misinterpreted.
